About Katherine Clements
A long time resident of Sarasota, Florida, Katherine Clements received her doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington and retains her license as a naturopathic physician in the state of Oregon. In the State of Florida, Katherine Clements practices as a wellness consultant. Florida does not license naturopathic physicians to practice medicine or to treat, diagnose, cure or prevent illness. She received her degree in massage therapy from Brenneke School of Massage in Seattle and is a licensed massage therapist in the state of Florida. Her undergraduate degree is in environmental studies from University of Buffalo.
After completing her doctorate and a one year residency in family medicine in Orlando, Florida, she is delighted to bring her wellness consultation practice to Sarasota; offering our community a unique opportunity in natural healthcare.
Prior to attaining her doctorate, Katherine Clements taught programs in environmental education and wilderness survival. She continues to share her love of nature and education as full-time faculty in the Alternative Medicine program at Everglades University in Sarasota and as a volunteer in the Florida State Park System. Katherine Clements is a strong advocate for naturopathic licensure, individual's rights, children's health, and the environment.
