David Litvak, M.B.A.
Head of CMC and Technical Operations

David Litvak is a CMC and manufacturing leader with more than 20 years of experience spanning cell and gene therapy, biologics, medical devices, and diagnostics. He has led the design and execution of end-to-end manufacturing and CMC strategies spanning early development through late-stage and commercial programs.

Prior to joining Aurora, Mr. Litvak served as Head of Technical Operations at nChroma Bio, where he led CMC strategy and clinical supply for a global clinical trial and the company’s broader pipeline. In this role, he oversaw GMP manufacturing and quality operations for mRNA and oligonucleotide drug substances, as well as lipid nanoparticle (LNP) drug products.

Previously, Mr. Litvak was Head of External Manufacturing and Clinical Supply Chain at Editas Medicine, where he built and executed the company’s clinical and commercial manufacturing strategies across multiple molecular modalities and delivery platforms, including guide RNAs, Cas nucleases, mRNA, plasmids, adeno-associated viruses, and LNPs.

Mr. Litvak holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and an M.B.A. from Boston University.
